madannie77
Can you give us a little clue MA? That might be a good idea, as no-one seems to have a clue where it is. It is in that part of the CIty Centre which the Council seems to call the Castlegate Quarter. Apparently Sheffield City Centre has 11 quarters . I didn't know that until today. madannie77
Found it, can be seen on Google Street View. I had to check on Google Streetview yesterday to make sure it was where I thought it was. Thankfully it was: there is life in the old memory banks yet.

ukelele lady
This clock and building shouldn't be hard to guess. I've included the building rather than just the clock because some of the clock pictures are not getting discovered, by including the building it should make this easy peasy. ukelele lady
Yes I'll have to give this one to Steve as he's the only one to have a guess. It's Spring House on West Street.

It's the new Spring House on West Street that belongs to the University and Steve obviously was first to the post with his answer. :)
Guest plain talker
Here's another mystery clock, it seem like we have quite a few unidentified ones. It's on the Owleron War memorial building opposite Sacred Heart church at Hillsborough!

DaveH
Clock manufactured by Gent & Co., Faraday Works, Leicester. Gents of Leicester probably made more railway station clocks than any other manufacturer, - have a look next time you are in any railway station anywhere. Now that makes it dodgy for a start. ukelele lady
Kelham Island? Yes, that's the place where it's hung now. There were quite a few people there this weekend with the Tramlines in the area too. People were queuing out onto the street from the Kelham Tavern and the Fat Cat just to get a pint or two. A great weekend but obviously the weather helped too.
Stuart0742
Now where is this clock, it meets Dave's requirements because in is not working, therefore dodgy However I don't think it has stopped, even though its not going I don't think it was even there last Sunday. Very dodgy this one. It looks very modern for my liking and either it was taken at exactly 12 o'clock or it only has 1 hand. Oh, - its exactly 12 o'clock, I can hear Frankie Laine singing it now, "Do not forsake me Oh my darling, on this our wedding day........."
