It's on the corner of Page Hall road and Hinde House lane. Built I believe about the same time as the Page Hall Market. I think it later became a furniture retailer. He's not much an advert for his trade though - looks like he slept in that suit he he
Lyn 1
Firth Park Coliseum was at the bottom of Hinde House Lane and Page Hall Road and is now a washeteria. It was rather like a small department store in its day. The owner Samuel Alonzo Peel aged 63 a general dealer of 79 FP Rd was buried in Burngreave cemetery July 28th 1925. His widow Fanny aged 66 was buried in the same grave on September 17, 1931. As they had no children does anyone know what happend to the shop after that? I have the couple in the 1911 census and they have nieces and a nephew living with them. Thanks Lyn
