Just to add the Royal is now boarded up.

I'll have a look tomorrow, but I passed 2 days ago and it wasn't ??

Or should I say "if it was I didn't notice" but that seems unlikley.

I'll report.

There is probably more than one way, the way I use is:

1. Do a screen print (usually top right of your key board) you now have the image of your full screen in your clip board

2. Open Photoshop or similar program and open a blank document (File > New)

3. Paste your screen print into this document

4. Crop the image to leave just the Google view (Remember to leave the Google logo etc on)

5. Save as a JPEG

Then continue as a normal photo upload.

Use print screen, that's 'Prt Sc' on my key board,

then open/paste into a image editing program and save as a JPEG.

Or you can use a Link

The important thing is to leave the "Google © 2009" on your final image.

Or if you use the latest Google Earth which has street view intergrated into it, just go 'edit' 'copy image' and then paste into paint or photoshop or suchlike.

Luckily I have 'done' almost all the pubs on this thread. There aren't many old pubs I haven't been in but looking at these sad sights I'd better get a move on to do the others.Didn't know The Springvale had gone.Worked near there for 28 years.Used to play darts in the Royal Lancers and used to go in the 'Brincs' with my dear late grandad(one of the few pubs round there he wasn't barred from). Some very sad sights. :(

I noticed the Crown at walkley had the doors open again today. 2 people standing outside but the To Let sign is still there.

I suppose there will be a few pubs closing and opening again while someone else has a go at making it work.
