RichardB 18 Posted March 16, 2009 1908 - Frank Levick - Sheffield United Death caused by blocking a shot. The ball struck him below the waist, forcing his testicles to become lodged in his abdomen. This caused internal bleeding of the bowel and a subsequent cardiac arrest.
ceegee 3 Posted April 2, 2010 According to the following link http://www.chrishobbs.com/sheffield2/franklevick1908.htm it seems that Frank died from heart failure as a result of pneumonia. The only reference to a "footballing injury" is a broken collar bone that was sustained on New Years Day against Newcastle. How the bone was broken is not known Does anyone know the location of Frank's grave in Tinsley Cemetery as I would not mind a visit there sometime

I need an index of myself.
