Chapletown originally had 2 stations

The LNER/GC closed in 1953

The Midland station remains open, does anybody know the exact date when this station was relocated approx 400yds south towards Chapletown centre, late 1970's I believe.

The new Chapeltown Station was opened on 2nd April 1982 (according to Jane's Railway Year, second year of Issue, ed Murray Brown, ISBN 0 7106 0262 6).
