From 1876 the owners were George and Mary Knowles, he was a horn haft and scale cutter, with works in Charlotte Street. He died in Dec 1891 and his wife sometime later moved to number 71. l would like to know when Alma House was built and by whom, or anything about the Knowles family" Anymore information would be welcome Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
