In choosing the east end of Sheffield for my ninth book in the series I am mindful that there have already been three books devoted to Attercliffe from this publisher alone.

There is no doubt that the area evokes nostalgic thoughts of days gone by and haunts remembered. Developers who clear the stones cannot also clear memories. As we get older we often recall more clearly our distant past than more recent events.
