Looks like Ecclescake Road/Collegiate Road/Crescent/Avenue whatever it's called.

I thought it was in France

That postman is wearing a French police uniform

Yes it is one of the above, can anyone come up with a more precise answer ?

Ah, it's t'other end of Collegiate Crescent. The gated road is the crescent, so the road left to right would be Brunswick Street?

That's exactly what that "postman" reminded me of Bayleaf

I'm fully defeated ... I would have guessed at Yorkshireman's Doodahs but the modern buildings leave me with absolutely no idea. Should I know ?

I love roofscapes, they're fascinating. The pub and the flats are distinctive, except that so many of the flats around town now look very similar. So it's the pub and flats combination that pins it down. Looking from above Canning Street towards the junction of Westfield Terrace and Devonshire Street?

A kitchen window not a bedroom window!

But it's a roofscape picture, - is your kitchen on the 9th floor or something?

Its a complicated building, but from the front on Division St its the 3rd floor, however because the land falls away it seems higher at the back, it might even be the 4th floor at the back, as its actually 2 buildings.

Does anyone know where these are situated?

They are on the new pedestrianised and widened section of The Moor near the bottom, along with some other seats and displays with similar wordings.

It is just outside where the new market is being / going to be built so many of these have reference to local market history, as in your second picture.

I must admit I didn't see any tie up between these and Sheffield so I must be missing something.

There are many others including Ragntag which sounds familiar.

It seems we have the signs well ahead of the market.
