vox
Siren guessed it was a public toilet, but got the location wrong. There is a pub/hotel next door, although it is a bit of a trendy winebar come restaurant come hotel. About 400 yds away is a historic location Thanks to extra clues. Can't think of the pub name (Did it used to be called the Abbey Hotel ??) And obviously the Industrial Hamlet. Google Street View

Wild guess here (no inside info) After posting 2 photos of Cleethorpes Railway Station, can we assume DaveH has been to Cleethorpes this week (this week is one of many teachers get off every year ) So if he has it could be on the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway

This is a narrow gauge (7 and1/4 inch, I think) STEAM railway which runs from behind the swimming pool at Cleethorpes South end, through the parkland area and down to Pleasure Island theme park. It has no connection with the mainline railway station which I had posted earlier. So how did they get this sign? (Multi choice question) A] Rescued it from a scrap yard B] Bought it on eBay C] Fell off the back of a lorry D] Nicked it from Attercliffe goods yard

I have used the word "yard" as part of my local Sheffield slang (like I call the pub car park the "boozer yard") The sign actually uses the word Depot So where was Attercliffe goods depot? Stuart0742
Newhall Road / Carlisle street / Brightside Lane Adjacent to the Midland line then, where the later Brightside Ln Depot was built. At this point there is a line into a scrap Yard on Stevenson Rd (Still Exists) what was the name of this depot? Sorry, Seems I was probably a bit out. I was going on hearsay. I worked at Atkinsons, (across the road from Brightside lane depot) for a while and that's what they referred to it as. According to UK Company records, your Stevenson Road location is the one.
