Waterside Echo
Somewhere near the canal, not quite sure at the moment, but there are some distinctive roof shapes in the background. Go down High Hoe Road [b6041] and its on the left at the side of the canal just before the traffic lights.
Stuart0742
Somewhere near the canal, not quite sure at the moment, but there are some distinctive roof shapes in the background. Might have changed my mind about being nr the canal, still reckon the roofs in the background are a clue
SteveHB
Go down High Hoe Road [b6041] and its on the left at the side of the canal just before the traffic lights. Thanks for that, I remember fishing the canal in Worksop near to a chimney, sounds like the same one. Might have changed my mind about being nr the canal, still reckon the roofs in the background are a clue Your right Stewart it's no where near the canal, but it's very near to water; in more ways than one. SteveHB
In at the deep end [The baths boiler house, Heeley] Yes you got it Waterside Echo Heeley Baths on Broadfield Rd, just across the road flows the river Sheaf, and the the building that stands behind is the rear of Abbeydale Picture House with it's distinctive domed roof. Stuart0742
What about this rural looking cottage, any guesses, sure Steve will know Right Steve can see it from his upstairs window, I wonder how many people drive past everyday or even ride on the tram past, (not sure if you can see it from the tram, though not to far away)
vox
Right Steve can see it from his upstairs window, I wonder how many people drive past everyday or even ride on the tram past, (not sure if you can see it from the tram, though not to far away) Steve lives Heeley/Arbourthorne and high enough for a view. The nearest Supertram gets is Park Grange. I think the bottom of Park Grange will be hidden, from most places in that area, behind trees. . So process of elimination and evidence says it's got to be somewhere between East Bank road and Park Grange Road near the bottom on the left going up hill, below the big pub. Or not as the case may be.
