Mystery Location

Thanks syrup, I didn't know that, and a great photo link as well.

When I was living in Hull about 35 years ago their big department store was Binns, - same company?

I believe Binns and Rackhams, which became House Of Fraser were owned by the same company. (In the years after Walshes had been subsumed by the H-O-F brand)

What about this one, getting back to my rule of looking up

So have you got it right with "somewhere near Sainsburys on Archer Road" then?

I think you need to be a bit more specific.

For a slight change, here is a "where was this" mystery location from a 1976 picture

The fish is a Giant gourami,

so it would have to be a very large tank or aquarium.

Baslow Road,Totley, looking at the wall profile pictured on Picture Sheffield .com, it could be Greenoak House

Not sure if I am allowed to use this picture so I have added the link as well.

Hi Sando

Had me confused there, putting the answer in a different topic to the question, I have moved it to the mystery location topic.

Your statement "Not sure if I am allowed to use this picture" the answer is No for copyright reasons we only provide links to PictureSheffield.

After all that the answer is correct

Now I am getting confused the picture above is Baslow Road, Totley, opposite the co-op.

The post above was moved from the thread "Only the gate post are left" which is also Baslow Road, Totley.

Fairly easy if you know but where can you see this?

I'm sure I have seen this, cant think where

While thinking about it, this is easy, (sorry Steve you can't guess I know you have been here :P )

OK, a bit of team work again, here's another similar and equally as easy one from me.

We now have 4 mystery locations running at the same time, - the most we have had since late December around Christmas time.

All we need now is someone to volunteer some answers, or even ask us for some clues.

Norfolk Park, the person who created the sculpture remains unknown.

Norfolk Park.

Correct SteveHB, it's all that's left of the old cafe in the park.

One down, 3 to go. Are you going to have a go at the others now that you have potted red and opened your break?
