This should be an easy one

Where is this telephone pole located?

I'd hazard a guess at it being Wincobank way.

.....Leveson Street ,Darnall/Attercliffe. - just out of shot in the distance is Norfolk Bridge/Attercliffe Common. The unused telegraph pole survied the fairly recent demolition of the large steelworks beside it ! :o

Is his prize a day trip to Leveson street at Darnall / Attercliffe?

I recently won a prize on a question from one of your pictures of Fitzallen Square and I will be going down there on my "prize trip" on Saturday

...if youre an old Redgates kid ...make sure you pop in Tags Model Shop - like all old toy shops were ! Then walk outside and admire the recently cleaned -up (block of four shops) facade of the building ,and its ornate carvings

I wasn't too far out, I should have seen the housing on Wincobank hill though, in the background, to tell me it wasn't as close to Wincobank as I thought.

The more that is revealed the less points you score and the value of the prize decreases

No Try again

The pub appears to be called "Sheffield History Mystery Pub" on its sign outside!! Nice one Stuart0742!

Is it the Royal Standard?

If we guess do we win a trip to it and is it your round when we get there?

Market Tavern on Exchange Street

;-)

Bottoms, I was stood outside there less than a month ago, can't even blame the passage of many years for me not getting that.

Can I plead age and baldyness ?

So as you had to reveal 2 strips of a 5 strip picture, while still cleverly disguising the boozers name which now appears to go the full length of the building does that mean that SteveHB's prize of a pint is now reduced to three quarters of a pint as you had to reveal that second strip?

What was this place previously called and was it once a Berni Inn

Yes, and I think it was the Old number 12. Now, what was the name of the Berni on Orchard st from about the same time?

Following on from the Market Tavern, what about this one.

Again the upper floors of some random building, not a pub

I can't believe this one is hard, not even a daft guess.

Clue, has a S1 postcode
