That's the one, sorry my mistake!

Ps: I dont suppose you know if the bridge from Broad Oaks to behind Willam Cooks is still useable?

Did this one slip through the net? Too easy? Too obscure? :)

I would have thought the date says 1886, but could it be 1836?

Not many of these around nowadays ...

Well there's another one here, courtesy of Google Streetview. This one's on a main road though and well known.

Is yours in a park somewhere ?

Not in a park no, but very tucked away and it isn't clear what or where it was serving. It looks like mine is missing a handle though!

This is Greenhill Main Road, in Greenhill Village.

Little Norton eh ?

A relative of mine used to live in the top flat in the building next door. He told me they lived in Green-hill and got most upset when I insisted on calling it Grennel.

Seems that the chap who built these two Villas had a love of American Poet Longfellow, but just where are they?

Circa.1890

Were you following me MA?

 I don't think so unless they are old photos - I am safely ensconced in Carlisle at the moment and I haven't walked along Crookesmoor Road since December 2010.

The answer came to me via the interweb and the Ramblers Association :o

I wish I was in Sheffield - I could do with an aimless wander around my city at the moment.

Any clues to where this fantastic Ironwork is?

I'll tell you a couple of stories about it, when someone comes up with the answer ;-)

The safety shutters suggest the rear of shops with flats above.

Is this close up of some writing a clue? - Lord Of The Rings, Magi Nation.

(The writing is on the inside, I've mirrored it to make it readable)

It put me in mind of here on Cross Burgess Street, rear of Pinstone Street (obviously not the same place) but similar sort of location and age.

The wheelybin suggests that it is on street level, but there is a level below, so somewhere with basements ?

What does the red and white sign say ? Possibly "Money G----"
