18 months of looking for Sheffield Pubs

This one I'm immensely proud of. There isn't much of it, but when you've looked everywhere, everyday for 18 months and you are thinking "That's it" to find a keeper (of a decent year) of a place with no known keepers is such a thrill.

Bankrupt - Frederick Kitson, Eagle and Child beerhouse, 28 Smithfield.

Birmingham Daily Post, Saturday October 13th 1888.

That's it, not much really - but I bet Lamb, A-Z of Sheffield Public Houses, Tsavo, Hey and even Leader would be proud to have landed this one.

Great catch Richard, and not a "fisherman's tale" either!
