Anyone know who owned the breadshop on Addy Street below the Victoria.

I don't know that one but I do remember "Winters" on Meadow St,,, now that was a sad loss!!

Winters homemade custards, pasties, S rolls etc,

Ham off the bone butties with best butter,

Warm bread every morning...... I can still smell it.

Do u mean Hammonds opposite the Oxford Cinema?I.Or it could be Skirths (they were Belgians) opposite The Scarborough.They were both demolished in 1969.

The bread shop was the next yard down on Addy Street from the Victoria pub and was there 50's early 60's.
