dunsbyowl1867
My mum's family come from North Shields and no trip to the North East was complete without a quarter of "Black Bullets" as iconic as Newcastle Brown Ale. I recently bought a tin for my mum and was surprised to note that since the 1960's they have actually been made in Sheffield! RichardB
Did Black Bullets originally have anything to do with "Welsh's" of North Shields ? <He says from very close by> Tim Healey's wife has connections to Welsh's - now derelict - the factory not his Wife !
