Calvin72
This is a remarkable piece of Sheffield's Transport history and it should never have been seriously under threat. Elsewhere on this site the remnants of Sheffield's original tramway history have been discussed and enjoy finding them, but is this the ONLY physical remain of the Horse Tramway era? Is there anything else at all? I guess the Electric Tramway had more infrastructure, so more little bits remain today. There should certainly be an information board outside the Depot, and there is a park opposite which has recently been laid out which has a guide to the nature, but i was a little surprised not to see anything in reference to the Tramway history which is visible from the park.
