Help!!!

We have just been round to my oher halfs parents house to help the clean the loft out before having it insulated.

Up there we found her Dads old train set which he thinks, given his age must be from the 1930's.

He was going to bin it until I said, given that there a a good number of carriages, waggons, bridges, etc and the old controllers and stuff that it might be worth a few bob. Enough to pay for a drink or two when they go away next.

So I have had a look on Ebay and a general peek on the net but I think I need a bit of advice.

So do we have any experts on the forum?

Or does anyone know of somewhere we can go for a bit of advice?

Thanks

Jason

I'm certainly no expert but regards the advice ....... If you contact Micheal Dowse (A.E. Dowse Auctioneers) Scotland Street, Sheffield, they will gladly give you a free valuation of what they think the items are worth. They hold a quarterly specialist toy auction (old toys) which is very well attended. I've dealt with them in the past, never any problems.
