This '6-wheeler' monster was from China Motor Bus of Hong Kong, probably used exclusively for school contracts.

Photo of the trams in Fitzalan Square looking over towards Haymarket on the right.

This photo must have surely been taken from the top deck of a tram!

Fantastic photo of the old Fitzalan Square showing the trams and tram stop, Barclays Bank on the corner next to 'WONDERLAND' which was a wooden circus type building showing moving pictures, and then the Bell Inn Hotel to the right of Wonderland.

A really old photograph of FItzalan Square here. Are we looking down Haymarket on the right hand side or are we looking down towards Pond Street?

Looking down towards Haymarket. When this picture was taken Fitzalan Square was a terminus with the tramlines only extending a short way around the corner just to the left of the image. The lines down Flat Street and along Pond Street were not built until the 1920s.

The old post office at the Junction of Commercial Street and Haymarket, where the policeman is holding up the bus, this is very forgotten and neglected building, it’s such a pity that a fine building like this is ignored by the city.

Well this is just an incredible photograph of Fitzalan Square in Sheffield City Centre.

So much of this scene has changed and gone now.

Does anyone have any information on what we're looking at in this one?

Is that the Elephant Inn pub on the very left of picture?
