Cracking site and some great pics. Love black & white photo's, they have that little something that colour one's lack. Especially liked the Barkers Pool shot of the old Gaumont canopy. The number of times I washed those strip lighting covers!

Well worth a visit!

If anyone wants any photos taken ,I go for a walkabout most Fridays,Anyone interested may join me but it does tend to mean going in a few pubs.

If I email you a time machine, could you pop into the Royal Lancers in April 1893 - then pop in on my family at Dixon Street (Court 2 House 3) and see what state my Great Grandfather is in please ? I'll include 5/- for beer !

Watch out PC, I've a feeling that the time machine may be powered by a bamboo bicycle, driven by a one legged Chinaman!

Hi Pops - I think these photos are brilliant. Is there any chance you can get some photo's of Crookes pubs on your travels on a Friday? I'd be willing to join you for a few but it's a bit of a commute from here !!

Looking forward to the Crookes Pubs Jill, if we both start walking we could meet The Man in about two weeks !
