If I'm not mistaken this paneling featured in a tv programme a few years ago, possibly on Channel 4. The firm was at the bottom of Woodseats Road by the railway bridge. The complete room was dismantled and removed.

I worked at Walker Engineering down that way and I'm pretty sure they used to be a small foundry and maybe a woodturning shop

Isn't it amazing how you can look for something for months or in this case years, using every search option you can think of, then stumble across it while looking for something totally different ...... such is the case here. Back in June 2008 tsavo started a thread regarding some art deco paneling for sale in a salvage yard that had originated from a Sheffield steelworks (his original link no longer works) ........ below is the tv programme that I refered to ......... the Sheffield interest starts just over 4 minutes in.
