Guest tsavo
Maybe someone with a better memory than me can help solve this? It would have been 1959 or 60 and an unknown (to me) local group were opening one of the Gaumont's stage Rock and Roll shows. The group consisted of two guitarists, a drummer and a young female singer. They started well enough but then for some reason the singer dried at the end of the second verse, walked off stage and promptly collapsed into my arms. She recovered quite quickly, but after a quick confab the rest of the group played one instrumental number and came off stage. I haven't a clue what they were called and the only thing I remember about the girl is that she wore a blue dress, might have had blonde hair, and was light as a feather. Does that ring any bells with anyone?
