Sheffield History
Here's an idea of one of the things we might do quite a bit on the site.. We take an old photo of yours We take a modern day view from the same angle Then we mix the two together for a mixed view What do you think ? Would this be useful to anyone ? deejayone
Fantastic idea - very unique. Gives a great impression of what the buildings looked like - and what they'd look like in a modern setting.

RichardB
Fantastic idea - very unique. Gives a great impression of what the buildings looked like - and what they'd look like in a modern setting. A fine and innovative idea, not much good if they have built a car park on top of your Victorian Grandparents house, but, excellent where buildings still remain. Sheffield History
We'll do what we can then.. We've applied the exact same principle to the film locations of The Full Monty They are in the Sheffield Film Location section and also on our sister site http://www.montymania.co.uk Take a look - we have put the actors into the same location how it looks now !!
