The Late Accident at Clay cross.

At the York assizes on Monday, an action was brought by Mr Broadbent, of the Barrack Tavern, Sheffield, against Midland Company to obtain compensation for sustained by this collision, but the case did not come on for trial, a compromise having been effected, the plaintiff receiving it is understood, £450.
