Do you think The Atlas New Saville Street is the same as Atlas Carlisle Street?

No where in my books is it mentioned twice as one being at one address and one

at another infact Carlisle Street is never mentioned. I wonder if the one on Carlisle

Street goes under another name.

Here's what I've got for Atlas Inn 52 New Saville Street.

1856 J. Hobson

1862 S.H.Rowe

1863 Samual H Rowe

1864 Samual H Rowe

1865 Samual H Rowe

1868 Samual H Rowe

1876 Peter Ellis

1879 William Nowlan [276 Saville Street]

1883 William Robinson

1887 Philip Osborne [274 Saville Street]

1888 Philip Osborne

1889 Philip Osborne

And your dates fit in amongst my gaps.

Great work Ukelele Lady, one addition (in bold above) - which begs the question, 1821 Sarah or Thomas, could Sarah be Thomas's Mom ?

I'd guess mom too.

For Richards attention

Angel Hotel Angel Street you have Tom Harry Thompson [1881]

On the 1881 census it says Selina Thompson, shall we have

both, could be man and wife?

I hope they weren't man and wife, she's his daughter, aged 14 ! :o

After messing up the Barrel post by trying to put the Picture Sheffield link right for you, I may be the last person to be advising you but:

I think what's wrong with the link is where you've copied it from.

Instead of copying the address from the address bar at the top of the page, you need to right click the image and then choose copy image location.

Then paste this into the link option in the post

I've just tried this vox but nothing at all happened.

I've also tried another way that I was told and got the picturesheffield etc

onto the screen with my message but no little hand would appear to do

the clicking.

the wording is also different on the computers so I've used the equivalent

in my case but still can't fully get there. :(

Just drove past here this morning and saw a bloke spraying the front in silver.

I don't know the original pub name, but recently it was "MJ's."

Soon to reopen as "The Bus Stop"
