searcher1
Thought this ad from the Sheffield Star might fit into the list section as it covers more than one cinema including the CINECENTA ' in Pond Street?. Now I recall the Cinecenta being like soft porn in the early 70's. I also recall my one afternoon visit and way later (like nowadays) no idea of the actual film but did recall the place being packed! Cinecenta was part of the whole complex of Multi storey car park, Top Rank Suite, Club Fiesta, shops and the begining of a big rejuvination of Sheffield. POPPYCHRISTINA
The Costcutter on London Road has the look of a cinema. Is this The Landsdowne? I have a photo but dont know how to upload it.
Guest tsavo
Hi Poppychristine, to upload a picture: Select Reply from the previous posting, Type in your message as normal. Select Procure and select the picture from your computer. When this is completed press Upload. Any problems, PM me. If the building you're talking about has a Pagoda roof, it is indeed the Landsdown, Lacarno etc.
