deejayone
England Rocks! is a specially made map of England, made in association with 'EnjoyEngland', featuring landmarks with specific and significant musical interest. There are entries for every major town and city, with the more musical places getting multiple entries. Sheffield is honoured no less than 6 times (in comparison to Leeds, who have one), the entries for the Steel City being: The Boardwalk There's live music every night of the week at this small and intimate music venue in the heart of the city centre, from China Crisis to Paul Young, from David Gray to Ryan Adams. Sheffield's answer to The Cavern was formerly known as the Black Swan and the Mucky Duck, and it's here that The Clash played their very first live gig in July 1976 supporting the Sex Pistols.
