RichardB
22 April 1802. Mr. Francis Chantrey (the sculptor) advertised to take portraits in crayons, at. 24, Paradise Square " and trusts in being happy to produce good and satisfactory likenesses, and no exertion shall be wanting on his part, to render his humble efforts deserving some small share of public patronage." Guest Gramps
This looks like another Google book not to be made available in UK. However the 'Recollections' of Chantrey by George Jones can be downloaded here http://www.archive.org/details/sirfrancischantr00joneiala
Guest Jeremy
Hmm, I can't see any reason for this to not be available in the UK. I might upload it to archive.org. In the meantime Gramps I have pm'd you with a place that you can get it from. Jeremy

southside
One of Chantreys commission's was to execute four collosal busts for Greenwich Hospital of the Admirals Duncan, Howe, Vincent and Nelson. The bust of Nelson is in the Royal Collection and can be viewed in the grounds of Windsor Castle. https://nelson.greenwich.co.uk/things-to-see/chantreys-bust-of-nelson/
