Interior of Britannia Theatre, West Bar.

Original cast iron stairway, the door in the background was originally entrance to Gallery seating. 28th July 1978.

One of the oldest Music Halls in the country, dating before 1860. Closed 1895. Fell into disrepair and later demolished For more information see 'The Lost Theatres of Sheffield', by Bryen D. Hillerby. 

Fireplace in the basement blocked with decorative panels. Possibly stage props. 28th July 1978.

Nos. 52 - 62 West Bar. Building on the left was Britannia Theatre, then occupied by Pink Champagne. No 60 and 62 (on right), former house with datestone 1794. It was formerly occupied by J.T. Dobb and Son Ltd., Paint Manufacturer. December 1983.
