JayneMu Posted January 10, 2008 Share Posted January 10, 2008 The old Police Station was at the Bottom of Burgoyne Road and in the 50's and 60's became a Dentist think the bloke what had it was called Ball. JayneMu Posted January 10, 2008 Share Posted January 10, 2008 The Unity cinema was on Langsett Road opposite the Kelvin Flats between Wood Street and Gertrude Street. I do not have a picture of it as a cinema but this shows the building in its latter days before it was demolished. The Mecca Bingo building and car park now occupy the area.
