So i'm reading through a Sheffield Victorian Diary and find,

1863 November 22nd.

Death of Robert Hales, the Norfolk Giant aged 43, Height 7ft 6in Weight 452lb lately landlord of the Burgoyne Arms Langsett Road.

Sheffield 1861 Census confirms this, HALES Robert 40 NFK Yarmouth 3464-46B
