Bayleaf
Just a guess, but could a type breaker have been responsible for breaking up the lines of type when finished with into individual letters and sorting them into their hoppers? A drawer could have worked in the wire industry or the cotton industry, in which case could 'fibra drawer' be a mis-spelling of 'fibre drawer'?
