Perhaps "excited" would be an exaggeration, but it's certainly interesting.

It all looks very peaceful: the bustle of workers and shoppers which one would expect in the centre of a great city just isn't there. Perhaps the most exciting change in the area could be made by bringing in busloads of people from the suburbs and not allowing them to go home until they've spent some money in the shops.
