Ye Olde Shakespeare Inn, Heeley

I'm keen to know the history of this pub, now The Brothers Arms. Anyone know how old this  property is? Previous lives? I see it's close to the cruck barn - any old maps revealing connection, use of current pub? Perhaps the Bard stayed overnight back in day?

Shakey was a good pub and one of my locals before they pulled our house down. A picture below from about that time and an interesting map from 1850/51 before most of the houses were built and not long after opening in 1849, as per pubs thread N to S, link below:
