Edmund Posted February 27, 2022 Share Posted February 27, 2022 In January 1864 the Sheffield Photo Company were at 2 Bank street, supplying Cartes de Viste at 2 for 2/6d, 9 shillings per dozen. Enlarged photographs from Carte de Visite to life sized were available, finished in oil, water colour of crayon. Enlarged transparencies could be supplied from 1 to 24 inches. Their premises were at 19 King street from 1872, then Fargate from 1890 to 1896 when they moved to 95 Norfolk street due to street widening.
