In the movie we see Jamie dreaming of performing at a New York Drag Club. The filming locations for this (external and internal) couldn't have been more contrasting however!

The external shots of the club are filmed outside Trafalgar Warehouse on Trafalgar Street in Sheffield City Centre(next to Corporation Nightclub - or 'Corp' as Sheffielders know it!)

The actual nightclub interior shots however aren't filmed there (despite Trafalgar Warehouse being a useable event space, but instead the interior shots were filmed inside the Abbeydale Picture House on Abbeydale Road

The outside of Abbeydale Picture House can be seen in a separate shot later in the movie
