Stunmon
I found a very old concert ticket for an event at Huntsman School Attercliffe in the 1920s. It would have belonged to my father. The promotors name is given as CH Whitaker. Has anyone ever come across any of these names when doing research? It seems that the organisation who would have benefitted was the National Federation of Discharged and Immobilised sailors and soldiers!!! Thankyou!!

Heartshome
Hi Stunmon. Founded in 1917, it represented workmen who had served in WW1 that had been discharged. See NADSS also NADDSS on Wiki and several other writeups on these. Obviously the benefit concert would have been to support local Sheffield men. Good on 'em!
