Charter Square ?

Think that is it. I know you had to go upstairs to it. I guess I have been away too long so tend to forget street names.

Blimey must be old lol!! remember romeo and juliets and the two rooms!!! - was very young then - too young but in them days you got in easily! ha ha ha  loved it!! and the quiet corners he he!

Remeber Roxy's ==== Barry Nobles' hey some laughs there!! and the fights for the taxi's after!!

Only went in Joesphine's once and there was a fight. I was dancing and glasses were thrown and I ended up in the cross fire with a very badly cut foot and believe it or not.... the management wouldn't do a thing about it -- could sue em nowadays!!!

Remember Cairo Jax as it became called lol.

Barry Nobles Roxy - "is that alright fo yerz" on Radio Hallam !

Bad luck with the fight in Josephines, as it wasn't that bad for violence really - just the odd scrap (mind you that might have something to do with the size of the doormen in the place !)

Have you seen the Cairo Jax section?

One of the DJ's (Steve Knight) has sent in some pictures of the Romeo and Juliets discount keyrings they used to give away !

Doh! Clicked on the wrong thing to answer to, should have replied to Turnups rather than Club 60, but will still look for all my pics of nights out in the 80s!!!

Don't forget Faces on Charles Street. One of the few clubs in very early 80s that didn't require jacket and tie to get in.
