I am the Chairman of the City of Sheffield Pipe Band and carrying out research regarding a former member. Peter Macrae, was a piper, but he was a railway police officer, killed on duty in Rotherham 15th November 1935. I have paper articles of his death and subsequent investigation but no other information. I would greatly appreciate any information or pointers for a direction I should be looking in.
