I remember a local shop keeper in Greenhill organising "along with others" the forming of the Sunday Imperial League in the late 60s. remember him contacting a Mr Spafford about sponsorship. Mr Spafford provided the cup and the league was named after the Imperial Works on Colver Street, Sheffield 2 Just out of interest does anyone know if the Imperial Cup is still played for?
