Sheffield History
NORTH PIER is where we are at in todays video - one of the greatest places in the whole country, taking a walk along the pier where you will have found the likes of Morcambe and Wise, Lily Savage, Joe Longthorne and more playing shows at the theatre there. The pier is also where Harry Corbett went in the 1940's and whilst on the pier he saw (and bought) a puppet that went on to become Sooty!! A few changes have taken place so we check them out, as well as have a cheeky look at the Venetian Carousel, the little red train, the bars and the beach and the sea and the Tower and... and... ah heck just watch the video walk for yourself!
