My grandparents originally came from Martin Street and Upperthorpe Road Sheffield in the 1940s. I just wondered if anyone knew them. Surnames Machen and Lees. They had children called William, Blanche and Albert Machen. My grandad William Machen lived there when he got married in 1945. My Nan was Dorothy Lees and she came from Upperthorpe Road.
