Guest tsavo
Just been reading an item in the BBC News pages 'magazine' on flooding. Mentioned by the writer, Prof. Frank Furedi is the bursting of the "Bradfield Dam near Doncaster"! Southerners ! !'ve emailed a little correction but I suppose it will be ignored. Mentioned SH as well....well you never know http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/magazine/6913404.stm
SteveHB
Typical, and people get paid decent money for compiling articals like that. I have an idea how the mistake was made .... Hatfield is near Doncaster !!!
Guest tsavo
I think it maybe the fact that part of Doncaster had some flooding as a consequence of the Dale Dyke collapse and is usually mentioned as "the effects were felt as far away as Doncaster."
