Dom
Trying to find any history including his burial place. I have most of what is online but just wonder if there is anything else.
Edmund
Possibly buried nearby to his widow's residence? Mary Ann Beauvoisin (nee Curr) was living at 154 Lord Street, Southport in 1851 (near the junction with Hill Street). St Georges which is the nearest church was not built until 1873 but Christ Church (124 Lord Street) and Trinity Church were close to her residence in 1851, as was the more likely Catholic chuch, St Maries on the Sands, which had been opened in May 1841 in Sea Bank Road. Possibly Mary Ann was interred in the same grave as Louis when she died in 1868? The North Meols (Southport) Family History Society appear to supply information on burials in the local churches, available via Genfair. Louis is not in this list of burials for Trinity Church: Trinity Southport The list for Christ Church only goes up to 1839.
Dom
Thanks Edmund. That is certainly more information that I need to research. Mary Ann who died in 1868 actually died in Belgium but the idea to look in Lord street is certainly one very good idea.
