My first teacher as Mrs Gardener, other staff were Miss Bolsover, Miss Garrison, Mrs Morton, Mrs Weldon and the Head was Miss Pass. The nurse was Mrs Machin.

I too attended Malin Bridge in the early 60's, and you clearly have a remarkable memory to recall the teachers and other names.  In doing that you have brought back quite clearly my recollection of Miss Bolsover and Nurse Machin.  And you say you can remember loads more!!  Believe it or not I cannot recall the names of any fellow pupils.  It was a pleasant school as you suggest.  Thank you for your recollection Lindsay.
