Arthur Fisher
I notice that there is a thread on this website regarding Thomas Berry of Moorhead Brewery, and of Thomas Junior, his son. In the Sheffield Daily Telegraph of 19th October 1895 I read that a Thomas Berry had become the brewer at the Britannia Brewery, Barnsley. Can anybody say please whither he is a son or grandson of the elder Thomas, or is it a simple coincidence of name?

Edmund
I think the Thomas Berry involved in the Britannia Brewery was originally from Scotland (Cameron Bridge, Fife), a distiller's clerk at Haig's in Markinch , Fife in 1881 via Queen's Brewery, Caldewgate, Carlisle in 1891, to Barnsley by 1896.
