Brunswick Chapel, South Street (now The Moor)

My grandmother was born Mary Ellen Ring in the chapel in 1900, this was in a flat within the chapel inhabited by her parents and elder brother, I believe that her parents were the caretakers of the building. I recall the building being pointed out to me by my grandmother (then Mary Ellen Marshall) sometime in the 1950, I seem to further recall that it occupied the plot where Marks and Spencer’s shop was constructed.

I would be greatly obliged if the forum genealogists could have a look into this, I further understand that following the birth of my grandmother that the family moved to Richards Road, Heeley.

Thanks, can’t be Brunswick then, I definitely remember it being halfway up The Moor, my gran always referred to it as South Street Chapel, the plot thickens.
