Anyone remember the name of the grocery store on the lane off Church Street? Used to sell lots of dried fruits and specialist foods in the late 50s

This was the Sunshine Food Store on Orchard Street, it was very popular well into the 1960’s.

Are you sure about the date on the second one?  The sign to the left seems to say "Special Offer" "Terms"(?) and £12.50 which would mean it was after 15 February 1971.

It is 1974 or later, as the bus passing in the background is in South Yorkshire PTE colours, the PTE only coming into existence in April of that year.

I seem to remember in the 1950s there was an adjacent cafe- the Sunshine Cafe, serving vegetarian food, as I 'm sure I can remember going there as a little lad with my Mother en route from Pond Street bus station to the Wisewood bus stop on Campo Lane. Or am I thinking of somewhere else?
