Sheffield History 478
In Four Lions there is a scene set inside a lecture theatre at Sheffield University The establishing shot shows a slow zoom in across Netherthorpe and across to the University building on Bolsover Street The movie locations flip around a lot for this scene, from this shot to the theatre shot somewhere else and then even down to Sheffield Magistrates Court on Snig Hill! Lots of movie magic used to make it look like one place for all the shots!
Sheffield History 478
This is a shot from Rutland Road which is not the right location but gives you an idea of how the Four Lions film makers would have created it The actual shot looks like it was taken from near the old Ski Village on Parkwood Springs? If you know let me know below..
deejayone 24
I would say the shots were almost certainly taken from above the Ski Village site (around the Parkwood Springs viewing platform, Mountain Bike track area).

I'd go up there and check but I fear for my life up there these days 🤣
