Did a search to see if the Sign or any of the Wadsley Bridge station signs had survived. But found no results.  Surprising really. You would have thought a Sheffield Wednesday would have grab that sign above!

It says "A preserved sign for Wadsley Bridge Station" in the article

I would say that the sign, could have been/was, created with image editing software,  i.e. Adobe Photoshop.
